One video, million emotions. Watch the trailer for the series “In Treatment”

“If the patients only knew the thoughts that cross my mind, none of them would return to me, ever” is the provocative line by Nikola Ristanovski and his character, Dr. Terziev, which opens the long-awaited trailer for the new Macedonian TV series “In Treatment”.

The two-minute trailer is definitely revealing a lot about the forthcoming forty-five episodes. The wide range of emotions, the suspense and the “contagious” tension will undoubtedly awaken any feeling but indifference. It appears that the brightest point in the melancholic setting of Dr. Terziev’s office is his lava lamp, and the fish swimming in the aquarium are the most at peace.

The sequence of frames provides an opportunity to get a taste of the performances by a series of complex characters and their even more complex life stories. The weeping Jelena Jovanova in the role of Milena is baring her feelings both literally and figuratively. Visar Viska as Gent and Dragana Kostadinovska as his wife Zana are ably capturing the tension in their marriage and a solid proof that too much laugher often ends up in tears.

Angela Dimitrova in the role of the teenage swimmer Ivana evades all permissions. Toni Naumovski as Vlado, the soldier, is crying just as hard as he provokes. Amernis Noksici, who stars as Ana Terzieva, Dr. Terziev’s wife, is also in tears. Amidst all the mayhem, Bedija Begovska, as the psychotherapist Dr. Vera Arsic, is the sole voice of reason.

“In Treatment” starts on September 18th at “TV Sitel”. If we are to draw a single conclusion from the trailer, it would be that we shall burn with impatience expecting the premiere.
